Cappadocia tours are famous for hot-air balloons, but the region is stronger when the route includes valleys, cave hotels, underground cities, sunrise viewpoints, small villages and enough flexibility for weather. Balloon flights depend on wind, so the first morning should not be the only chance to fly.

Two or three days are enough for a first Cappadocia itinerary: Goreme or Uchisar as a base, one balloon morning, Red Valley or Rose Valley, an underground city, Pasabag or Devrent, and sunset viewpoints. A slower route can add hiking, photography timing, pottery in Avanos or private transfers from Kayseri and Nevsehir airports. Cappadocia works best as a multi-day add-on to Istanbul, Antalya or a wider Turkey route, not as a rushed one-day stop.
