WeWander is a marketplace platform that connects travelers with independent tour operators and activity providers across Europe. Operated by MB "Wewander" (registered in Lithuania), the platform facilitates booking, payment processing, and customer support — but does not operate or supervise the activities listed.
Each activity on WeWander has its own cancellation policy set by the operator. WeWander offers four standard policy types: Flexible (full refund 24+ hours before), Moderate (full refund 7+ days before, 50% refund 1–7 days before), Strict (full refund 14+ days before, 50% refund 7–14 days before), and Non-Refundable. Operators may also set custom policies. The applicable policy is always displayed before checkout.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Refund amounts are calculated based on the time between your cancellation and the activity start time, according to the operator's cancellation policy. If an operator cancels an activity, you receive a full refund automatically.
WeWander supports three booking methods: Instant Booking (confirmed immediately upon payment), Request to Book (operator confirms within 24 hours, payment processed only after confirmation), and Private Tour Date Requests (request a specific date for private tours, operator responds within 48 hours). All payments are processed in EUR.
No. WeWander operates as a marketplace intermediary, not as a tour operator or travel agent. The contract for each activity is formed directly between the traveler and the operator. The operator is solely responsible for delivering the activity, ensuring safety, and complying with local regulations. WeWander monitors operator performance and removes operators who violate platform standards.
WeWander accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, PayPal, and other methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed in EUR. Currency conversion fees, if applicable, are charged by your bank — not by WeWander.
Contact WeWander at info@wewander.tours with your booking number and description of the issue. WeWander responds within 2–3 business days. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. These terms are governed by Lithuanian law, though EU consumers retain their local consumer protection rights.
Yes. WeWander complies fully with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. WeWander does not sell personal data to third parties. To exercise your data rights, contact info@wewander.tours.
